SP 13 Acupuncture Point is called as fǔ shè. Fu means Zang-Fu organs and She means dwelling. The deep region of this point is the abdominal cavity, which is the dwelling place of the Zang-Fu organs.
SP 13 Acupuncture Point Location
0.7 cun superior and 0.5 cun lateral to SP-12, 4 cun lateral to midline in inguinal crease
On the lower abdomen, 4 cun lateral to the anterior midline, at the level of CV 3, 1 cun above the superior border of the pubic symphysis. Needle perpendicularly 0.5 – 1 cun.
