LI 4 Acupuncture Point is called as hé gǔ. He means Junction. Gu means Valley. This point lies between the 1st and 2nd metacarpal bones. The location of the point is depressed as a valley.

On the dorsum of the hand, approximately at the midpoint of the second metacarpal bone, in the belly of the first interosseus dorsalis muscle. Needle perpendicularly 0.8 – 1 cun.
