ST 11 Acupuncture Point is called as qì shè. Qi means Vital energy and She means Residence. Qi refers to the vital energy of the Lung and Stomach. This point is beside the trachea, like a residence for the Qi.
ST 11 Acupuncture Point Location
At the root of the neck, at the superior border of the sternal end of the clavicle, between the sternal and clavicular heads of sternocleidomastoid muscle. Needle perpendicularly 0.3 – 0.5 cun.
