BL 11 Acupuncture Point is called as Da Zhu. Da means Big. Zhu means Shuttle. The first thoracic vertebra is bigger; the spinous process is like a shuttle, and the point is lateral to it.
BL 11 Acupuncture Point Location
On the upper back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the first thoracic vertebra (T1). Needle obliquely 0.5 – 0.7 cun.
