BL 61 Acupuncture Point is called as Pu Can. Pu means Servant. Can means paying respects. This point is at the lateral aspect of the heel, and is therefore exposed when a servant pays his respect.
BL 61 Acupuncture Point Location
On the lateral foot, in a depression on the lateral calcaneus, 1.5 cun inferior and posterior to the lateral malleolus, directly below BL60 which is posterior to the lateral malleolus. Needle perpendicularly 0.3 – 0.5 cun.
