GB 33 Acupuncture Point is called as Xi Yang Guan. Xi means Knee. Yang is Yang of Yin-Yang. Guan means Joint. Yang here means lateral. This point is at the lateral aspect of the Knee Joint.
GB 33 Acupuncture Point Location
On the lateral side of the knee, superior to the joint line, in a depression between biceps femoris tendon and the lateral condyle of the femur. Needle perpendicularly 0.5 – 1 cun.
