GB 36 Acupuncture Point is called as Wai Qiu. Wai means Lateral. Qiu means Mound. This point is above the lateral malleolus and the local muscle forms a mound-like prominence.

On the lateral side of the leg, 7 cun superior to the prominence of the lateral malleolus. Needle perpendicularly 0.5 – 0.8 cun.
