GV 18 Acupuncture Point is called as Qiang Jian. Qiang means Stiffness. Jian means Middle. This point is between the parietal bone and occipital bone and is indicated in treating still neck and headache.

On the posterior head, 2.5 cun directly above the external occipital protuberance. Needle subcutaneously 0.3 – 0.5 cun.
