LI 6 Acupuncture Point is called as piān lì. Pian means Divergence. Li means passway. A collateral of the large intestine meridian separates from here and diverges to the Lung Meridian.

On the radial side of the posterior antebrachial region, 3 cun proximal to the dorsal wrist crease, on the line connecting LI 5 at the wrist and LI 11 at the lateral cubital crease. Needle perpendicularly or obliquely 0.5 – 0.8 cun.
