LR 6 Acupuncture Point is called as zhōng dū. Zhong means middle. Du means confluence. This point is at the mid point of the medial aspect of the leg and is a confluence of the Qi of the Liver Meridian.
LR 6 Acupuncture Point Location
On the medial side of the leg, posterior to the tibial medial margin, 7 cun superior to the
medial malleolus. Needle subcutaneously 0.5 – 0.8 cun.
7 cun above medial malleolus, just posterior to crest of tibia
