SI 16 Acupuncture Point is called as tiān chuāng. Tian means Upper Part and Chuang means Window. This point is on the neck and indicated in treating otological diseases. Its function is to restore hearing loss as if a window were being opened.

On the neck, on the posterior margin of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, at the level of the laryngeal prominence and the transverse process of the fourth cervical transverse process (C4). Needle perpendicularly 0.3 – 0.7 cun.
