SI 5 Acupuncture Point is called as yáng gǔ. Yang is Yang of Yin-Yang. Gu means Valley. Yang means the exterior. The seam on the exterior aspect of the wrist, where the point is located, is like a valley.

On the ulna side of the wrist, in a depression between the styloid process of the ulna and the triquetral and pisiform bones. Needle perpendicularly 0.3 – 0.5 cun.
