ST 36 Acupuncture Point is called as zú sān lǐ. Zu means Lower Limbs. San means Three. Li taken as Cun in ancient times. This point is on the legs. 3 cun below the knee.
ST 36 Acupuncture Point Location
On the leg, one finger breadth lateral to the tibia’s anterior crest, 3 cun inferior to ST 35 in the depression to the lateral side of the patella. Needle perpendicularly 0.5 – 1.2 cun.
