ST 41 Acupuncture Point is called as jiě xī. Jie means Separation. Xi means Stream. Xi refers to a minor depression on the body surface. This point is in the anterior articular depression of the ankle Joint.
ST 41 Acupuncture Point Location
On the dorsum of the foot, between tendons of muscles extensor digitorum longus and extensor hallucis longus, level with the tip of the lateral malleolus. Needle perpendicularly 0.5 – 0.7 cun.
On the ankle, level with lateral malleolus, between extensor hallicus longus and extensor digitorum longus
