BL 17 Acupuncture Point is called as Ge Shu. Ge means Diaphragm. Shu means Point. This point is the place where Qi of the Diaphragm is infused into the back.
BL 17 Acupuncture Point Location
On the middle back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the seventh thoracic vertebra (T7). Needle obliquely 0.5 – 0.7 cun.
