BL 24 Acupuncture Point is called as Qi Hai Shu. Qi Hai means Sea of the primary Qi. Shu means Point. This point is opposite to QiHai(CV 6), Where the primary Qi is infused into the back.

On the lower back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the third lumbar vertebra (L3). Needle perpendicularly 0.8 – 1.2 cun.
