BL 25 Acupuncture Point is called as Da Chang Shu. DaChang means Large Intestine. Shu means Point. This point is the place where the Qi of the Large Intestine is infused into the back.

On the lower back, 1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the fourth lumbar vertebra (L4). Needle perpendicularly 0.8 – 1.2 cun.
