LR 4 Acupuncture Point is called as zhōng fēng. Zhong means middle. Feng means earth heaped into a mound. This point lies between the two malleoli, as if between two mounds.

On the dorsum of the foot, 1 cun anterior to the medial malleolus, in the depression
medial to the tibialis anterior tendon. Needle perpendicularly 0.3 – 0.5 cun.
