LU 9 Acupuncture Point is called as Tai Yuan. Tai means Great .Yuan means deep pool. Tai means abundance. The Qi of the meridian in the local part of the point is abundant as water in a deep pool.

At the wrist crease, between radial artery and abductor pollicis longus tendon

On the lateral side of the anterior wrist crease, in the depression on the radial side of the radial artery. Needle perpendicularly 0.2 – 0.3 cun.
