SP 4 Acupuncture Point is called as gōng sūn. Ging means connection and sun means reticular collateral. Sun here means collateral; from this point the collateral of the spleen meridian connects with the Stomach meridian.

On the medial foot, in the depression distal to the base of the first metatarsal bone. Needle perpendicularly 0.5 – 0.8 cun.
