ST 30 Acupuncture Point is called as qì chōng. Qi means Qi of the Meridian. Ching means Gushing. This point is located in a Qi Street and is a passageway for the Qi of the meridian to circulate

At the superior border of the pubic symphysis, 2 cun lateral to the anterior midline, at the level of CV 2. Needle perpendicularly 0.5 – 1 cun.

On the lower abdomen, 2 cun lateral to the midline, level with the superior border of the pubic symphysis

Caution

Avoid the femoral vein, spermatic cord in men and round ligament in women.

  • running piglet qi, qi rushing upwards to attack the Heart
