ST 43 Acupuncture Point is called as xiàn gǔ. Xian means Depression. Gu means Valley. Gu referes to a depression on the body surface. This point is in the depression between the second and third metatarsals.

On the dorsum of the foot, between the second and third metatarsal bones, 1.5 cun superior to the web margin, in line with the lateral side of the second digit. Needle perpendicularly 0.3 – 0.5 cun.

Between second and third metatarsal bones, in depression 1 cun proximal to ST-44
